Greetings,

My name is Ernesto Gonzales and I am the principal at Garwood Elementary. The following serves as a brief introduction about me. I am starting my 20th year in the education profession. I continue to radiate my passion for helping students on their path to becoming independent adults. I currently live within the quiet and friendly community of Garwood. When I’m not busy with my career, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy hobbies that include fishing, camping, and playing a variety of recreational sports. I do enjoy being a role model and mentor for my students, which can often help students recognize their strengths and interest. I look forward to getting to know the students of Garwood this year and working with the wonderful staff.
